Saxophone mouthpieces from the 3D printer The ideal mouthpiece comes from a printer
The mouthpiece, particularly its internal geometry, is mainly responsible for the sound quality and playability of a saxophone. CT scanning, measurements and calculations of internal air flows have made it possible to produce 3D-printed mouthpieces of a quality that has never been achieved before.
