Pykrete Dome Ashes to ashes, dust to dust and ice to ice
Pykrete Dome, the world's largest ice dome, was the inspiration for finding a way of building large ice structures without any additional form of support. Pykrete - an immensely strong combination of frozen sawdust and water - separates into its component parts as it melts and creates the ideal foundation for the next ice structure.
