Magnetic orientation of steel fibres More sustainable and less costly construction thanks to the improved bending capacity of steel fibres
There is increasing interest in steel fibre reinforced concrete, however the construction industry remains tentative. The reason for this caution is the relatively large tolerance spread in material properties, caused by inhomogeneous fibre distribution and the orientation behavior of the fibres. Application of a magnetic field makes the orientation more uniform and thereby improves concrete quality.
