It’s What’s on the Inside that Matters
Hard exterior, porous interior
3D-printed objects are not discernible from the real thing, even though the inside is often overlooked. Jun Wu sought inspiration in the architecture of bones and developed numerical algorithms to generate porous structures. Through their rigidity, robustness and light weight they are perfect for building internal structures in various products.
